Yeah the LFA in the FRS would be awesome but, you would put a 2JZ in the LFA?

Is there even any weight savings in getting a CF hood for this car? The stock hood is aluminum already.

Yeah there is weight to be saved by going CF. Just like a few other cars like the S2000. The only thing is you had to go big and buy the expensive dry CF hoods that would only give minimal weight saving, but it's still weight being shaved. I think a dry CF hood would benefit our car more from the venting

I wouldn't either but the question was whether a CF hood would save weight or not. But yeah, there's way better items to throw out or replace before a hood for us.

Unlimited money, I'd probably buy everything TRD and switch the lights and center console of the gt86 over to my car. The only thing i'd get not from TRD is a set of TE37 in bronze, 17x9 in the rear, 17x8 up front with et+35. Set of 245 rubber in the rear and 215's up front. Replace all body pannels with dry carbon fiber. Replace fuel tank with fuel cell, get supra TT fuel pump
Swap the v10 from an LFA into the car some how. I'd gut the rear and replace with a half cage for daily drivability and section off the trunk so if i brake hard stuff won't fly forward into the back of my head. The head unit will be replaced with a cubby hole, speakers removed with custom plates to cover the holes. I will also get a tree air freshener and lambo doors for the hell of it... |
