Ksport is a manufacture, so yes they do produce products for other companies.

Its a very common practice in this industry if you were to dig deeper. I.e. Work wheels produces tons of wheels for other wheels companies since they are a manufacture.

MHT actually makes ADV1 wheels.

These guys are just like you and I they are serious enthusiasts, they only build GREAT stuff. When I was in AZ they were just starting they were really involved with the tuner community. Just beacuse they give back by having afforable models does not mean their high end stuff or any of their products for that matter are anything less the premium quality.
Ksport made in china by a taiwan company. they dont manufacture anything.. they can sell at cheaper prices becuase they went cheaper making parts in china.

I just used info off their website, I'll still buy their product on the integrity of the two guys that founded it.

You would be incorrect, manufacturing is all done in Taiwan.

Really??? I don't see them listed on the MHT website? And even if ADV1 isn't listed on the MHT site, I'm really curious to know if this is true.

It is true, I used to work very closely with ADV1 wheels. Its common nothing to be stunted about. They didnt have the capital when starting to afford hundreds of CNC machines so they sourced out the machining and put a patent on their designs.

You wont see it on MHTs website because all MHT is handling is the machining of the product not the advertising.

If you ever order ADV1 wheels, you will see they come from MHT warehouse. ADV1 normally ships to their warehouse then to customer though, but I have no reason to make stuff up.

For the record I am not down talking ADV1 Wheels, they make AMAZING wheels and designs and are worth every penny.

So does ADV1 still have their wheels CNC'd and machined by MHT or does ADV1 manufacture themselves now?

I've always been a fan of ADV1 wheels, but always been curious to know their manufacturing.

Last time I sold a set (November 2011) they were still being machined/cnc'd at MHTs location.

Its pretty expensive to buy CNC machines then pay someone to run each machine.

Ive actually spoke with HRE wheels on the process, and they pay a guy to sit at each machine for about 8-10hrs during the process of some wheels.

Listen to the Racecomp guys. They have no reason to lead you astray...

My experience was horrible. I had them on my MR2 turbo. They look good. Reasonable feel for the street. That's it. I switched to Wilwood.

My issues:
The color I ordered based on their picture was discontinued. No where on the site did it show the change. I could not return it.
The front and rear bias (the model was recommended by them for the MR2) was askew.
The nipples leaked and ate through the caliper paint. They claimed that I over tightened it. (This is not my first rodeo)
The stopping power is good, but the brake modulation and feel is average.

Subpar parts, money better spent on a quality kit or somewhere else all together.
