i agree, but it doesn't really give us choice because they have like 4 different versions that of the 86 that they sell overseas. I bet we could've chosen a cheaper version of the vehicle if they brought it over, I mean japan has the RC, G, GT and GT Limited specs.

Not to beat a dead horse, but if the options offered by the car didn't fit with the "Scion" brand, why didn't they just bring it over as a Toyota and give us all 1. the ability to chose which spec would fit each of us, 2. actual choices rather than just a "gimped" scion spec that doesn't please everyone.

in the end, it's still a great car to drive and I have fun driving mine, i've had to fuel up twice in a week cause i've driven it so much...gas prices suck.

My guess on this, is that the Scion brand is not doing well. With that in mind, the Frs was cry to save scion.

I think it has more to do with the fact that they are losing the one car that has been their biggest hit (xb) and needed another car to replace it in popularity.

Congrats on the car.

You mixed your food terminology around. The manual is the "wiener package", the auto is the "clam package".

lol, the clam package he!!!

sorry but its not ignorance. its choice. Just like some people think its ignorant to change the badges, at the end its the same car, but its your choice.

Its about choice, and i chose not to buy the auto, because simple i just dont think its my choice.

Its my choice to get a manual car, hence not ignorant, because an ignorant person will have not idea when to shift in a manual car. Because in a clam package the car does it for you

Do I make sense.

Sorry im not trolling here, but my thread .

I love the car, its a good car, and will be waiting and researching before i jump in the aftermarket world, after all the vendors are raping people with the prices just because the car is to hot off the grill. But when the competition gets fierce, i hope that thingss will change.
