My enthusiasm is restored.

I still want to know power:weight and performance capability...

My heart yearns for this car.... the Z feels too porky.

That is kind of silly Calais. :P You should know as well as the rest of us that Toyota is heavily involved in the car. I stand by the 50/50 comment by SOA blog. It's called the Toyobaru or the Subieyota for a reason!

that's still a big and heavy car. adding more power makes it faster but doesnt help give it the feeling of a light and nimble chassis...

Sorry if this is a repost but here's a sensible rumor why the Scion version can have a gruntier exhaust while the Toyota version sold around the rest of the world can't. Taken from club4ag:

Mix that with the level of passion the people at Toyota have for this? I won't get into the nitty-gritty as I have caused enough mayhem in the copy-paste industry of internet.
USA wins for FRS I think...unlike the FIFA Women's Football today.

i still think the turbo is a must!! allot of young people they dont care about the weight of the car!! they only care about speed!!

why should i buy an n/a 4 cylinders engine!! while i can get the 370z with a 330 HP for little higher price!!

i know 370z will be more heavy comparing with the ft-86!! but after market carbon fiber parts can reduce the weight!!

i just wont go for the FT86 if its below 280HP!

i will wait!! if its below 280hp i will go for the 370z!

i drive Infiniti m35 now!! i dont want my daily use car to be faster than my weekend caaaar!!

Ok, so I have been reading this thread and a few others on other sites. The one thing I have not really seen is a responce to the recent MotorTrend article about the 216a getting AWD and a turbo.

http://www.motortrend.com/future/fut...way/index.html

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this one sounds like the car you guys are wanting.
