Also I have noticed that someone said USA doesn't need license plates on the front at all? is this a state by state rule? As such, how do they mount the factory plate holder for your guys? Over here its two giant gaping rectangular holes on each side of the bar, where they slide a spring clamp that has a nut on the back. One for each side of the plate mount.

Anyways, any help would be appreciated, as I don't have access to USA plates and I am unsure if our design would be applicable for anywhere aside from Australia.

Based on how we did ours, maybe you can advise if this is possible or not on USA plates?
What's the cost of these going to be, how long until you go into production and what plate size are you looking at? Tks

just waiting on the threaded lugs for the backing as they had to be imported.

Will be $40-$55..

If someone can tell me the spacing for the USA plate holes, we can have those holes added to the template, as the Australian holes are 210mm apart.

The only thing is, if your dealer hasnt added the factory plate mount, then there may not be any locators for this to bolt into.

This uses the two top holes in the stock mount to locate it. In Australia, the front bars have two large rectangles and a hole next to each rectangle. They slide a spring clip with a lug nut on the back of it into the rectangle, and the nut lines up with a 7mm hole in the bar. One on each side, for the plate mount. If that makes sense.

Looking at pics of the FR-S the mounts look the same, but since I dont have USA plate I cant double check it will be compatible.
