There is a PDF version of the manual on this site. Download it and search it, it a lot easier than thumbing through the paper version and it can be done, allegedly, on a work PC and almost look like real work.
Is there? I've been looking for it but can't see it for looking. Maybe I'm too stupid? Duh.

Couldn't give me a linky please?

Ta.

PS. I have the service manuals, not the handbook or users manual.

Jeez guys - real mature bunch around here. Trolling members of the same forum?

Just wow..

I hope whatever thats bothering you in life your life gets better, but I'm fine and dandy. Not going to let a couple immature (and extremely angry) folks on the internet ruin my day. Lord knows there are tons of angry people in this world who want to bring everyone else down to their level

Lesson learned: I know not to come here if I'm looking for friendly advice from folks who bought the same car as me.

I'm a very mature guy and I take it for granted that some folks out there don't have the same maturity level as me. It's a good lesson that not everyone treats each other with common decency - even for a fairly basic question.

Nah, he wanted lazy help! In less time than it took for him to wait to get on line, search all over the net for his answer, and still get nowhere until he got here, he could have reached over into the glove box, cracked open the manual and got his answer in less than 5 minutes. Every car come with a manual explaining everything about the car.

RTFM indeed!

Everyone is giving you a hard time because something as simple as this issue could have been easily fixed if you had done some time into researching it. Just like when you bought the car...research and if you cannot find the answer, post a thread and say that you tried searching for the info but couldn't come up with any solution. Then it be easier for guys to help you without the trolling. Some forum members just hate seeing the same thread posted over & over again or something as obvious as this without them . But I'm glad you figured it out.

BTW, I feel like I'm gonna get banned soon for trolling.

Trolling is anti-social and deviant behavior that adds no value to these forums... so yeah, I hope the mods do take action to those who engage in that sort of thing. When you go out of your way to troll others, you're just wasting their time, your time, and the time of the mods.

It's a car forum and we come here to talk about cars, not to attack each other. If you can't handle that, you probably shouldn't be on here. I come here to talk about cars.

While this is true, when you have a nicely running forum, and idiots keep showing up, not reading anything, not searching for the answer they want, then asking for help for the same stuff that has been discussed time and time again, i would argue that that behaviour adds no value to these forums.

What is going on in the world when we can't ridicule someone for being lazy and stupid?

To be fair, I think we all can acknowledge that a light on the gauge cluster is something that can easily be found in your manual, along with how to take care of it.

And part of the reason that trolling continues is that people get butthurt over it, like you apparently have. Also, nobody is going out of their way to objectify you as a moron, so relax, accept your friendly and move on. A little bit of ribbing is good for the ego, keeps us reminded that we aren't perfect.

Ok funny! I my reply was not intended to attack the young lad. "Retards or retarded" is in reference to the individuals who (obviously?) maliciously lead him to believe the TPS indicator was for TCS.

I DO have a sense of humor...which is why I've recalled my hit teams from your locations!:happy0180:

You guys crack me up... haha.

Keep trolling and doing blatantly anti-social behavior like that if it makes you happy, but that isn't going to stop me from calling a spade a spade.

I'm just a nice guy who has good social graces, so I would never take time out of my day to belittle someone for asking a basic question.

If that's your MO? Go knock yourself out, but I'm an adult so I'm way above petty, anti-social acts like internet trolling.

That's all I'm really going to say. Hope you guys have a great rest of your day - ttyl
