when traction control kicks in you will see that yellow warning icon with the car sliding near middle of the tachometer. when you shut TC off, there will be an icon that says it's off.

There are two ways for a tire pressure system to monitor your tires. One of the older methods was for the computer to monitor the ABS signals from each tire. If one started rotating more than the others, then that tire was flagged as having low pressure.

Today, however, most TPMS-equipped cars use an actual sensor inside the tire itself. This sends a OK/Not OK signal to the TPMS computer. If the computer get a Not OK or no signal at all it turns the light on.

Ok...who's !@#$%^retarded? Plz note the symbol has tire tread on it and it's flat! That was your first clue. As to which group of retards stated this is a TCS indicator...well I did say they are retarded. FYI, TCS indicators are generally depicted as this symbol: "!" (yours has a skidding car)
Yes, that's an exclamation point! Read your owner's manual. It's not just spare buttwipe to be used in case of a breakdown in a wooded area!

Actually had this come in due to over pressure in the wife's Forester last March when it got into the 80's. Her tires were still in winter mode, i.e. more air than normal due to cooler temperatures, so when they warmed up the air expanded and they were over-filled.

Be especially alarmed if the sliding icon and door open icon are on at the same time while moving...unless you are a drifter and this is normal.

oh that's just some photo on google man and i'm sure the key was only in "A/C" mode that's why all the warning lights were on otherwise they would have a hell bigger problem than the door haha

Glad you said it and not me... this has been the universal flat tire indicator for 15 years now. RTFM

could that also be why the RPM and Speed are at zero? to the OP...not to be rude but you have a brand new car with a very nice (one of the best ive seen) owners manual. It is entirely worth the effort to sit down on the throne of your choice and read/skim through it, there is a lot it will teach you about your car. or you could continue to post your questions here, but expect people to get annoyed...just saying.

Thus why I said "while moving"

There is a PDF version of the manual on this site. Download it and search it, it a lot easier than thumbing through the paper version and it can be done, allegedly, on a work PC and almost look like real work.

ROFL! Good point. The tire presure indicator has become so common place, it did not occur to me that someone other than my grandparents would ask about it!
