Unless it is a dedicated track car, a set of Stainless lines, performance brake pads & high temp brake fluid should be more than good.
SS Lines are very very very optional. They increase feel (and arguably moderation) but that's about it. I've tracked cars (including the BRZ) with OEM lines for over a decade and have never seen a reason to 'upgrade' except when tracing down a problem on the race car, the lines didn't fix it though

if you measure the actual shiny part and brake pad area you'll be surprised how similar it is.. among most cars.
And because trucks have to be able to tow, which under braking generates additional heat compared to normal use. Larger heatsinks.......

Might be a stupid question. One of my friends says that with bbk , rotors will last longer as well as brake pads? Is that true?

Tap'd from my G-Nex

that statement depends entirely on which rotors, pads, and how you use them.

BBK will outlast OEM out on the track, but out on the street i'm gonna guess that the BBK will get chewed up sooner than OEM.

It really depends on your usage, driving habits, and the conditions you expose them to.

This is one of those cases where "YMMV" truly applies.

My personal opinion is that brake lines are a wear and tear item on a tracked car. With enough heat exposure and cycles, things tend to wear out, and brake lines are one of those critical components.

After seeing a few too many catastrophic failures (usually the crimp on the OEM line where it connects to the caliper), I preemptively changed mine on my personal car.

Our BRZ won't be getting SS lines until we need them.
