So a 225/40 18x8.0 45 will be a good fit then? I want the off-set to be lined up with the sides if that makes sense. I don't want it to be really close to rubbing the wheel well. What tire would you recommend? I was looking at the Proxy T1 Sport. Would they be better?
Those are good tires. I run MPSS. I have also run RE760 brigestone. BFG sport comp 2, and Michelin A/S + (like A/S3). All are good for street.

I have eibach pro kit springs. (basically TRD) 7/8" lower, a conservative drop. functions well with the stock shocks.

You shouldn't rub at all with those specs.

Awesome dude thanks a lot! I'm not lowered at all but if I do decide to lower, would it be a problem with the specs I gave you?

Hey everyone,

I have a couple questions I am hoping to get feed back on. For springs should I go with Eibach or Swift? I am only going an inch but with stock wheels and tires for now, does anyone have feedback on spacer size and brand to kick out the stance a little so the stock wheels don't look funny?... Thanks!

Looking to get new shoes for the BRZ and I'm new to the fitment thing. I'm thinking about 17x9 +20 or 18x10 +25 I don't know what size tires I'm going to need to run these wheel setups or if they fit. I'm currently on stock ride height will eventually get coils and give it a drop, would also want the tires a bit stretched

Your going to have issues with those specs on stock suspension. Read through the wheel directory for more information.

Any of the springs that are a 1" or less drop work well with stock shocks. I have the Prokit springs. I'd also consider the RCE springs.

spacers thread.

Hello everyone. I could really use some advice.

Picking up these wheels:
COSMIS RACING XT-206R BRONZE 18X9 +33MM 5X100

Not sure what tire to get. I want performance over stance. I don't want to stretch the tires and I don't want to poke beyond the fenders. I do have Tein Flex Z coil overs but I'm lowered about as much as the TRD springs take it.

Please guide me oh wise ones!

18x9 +33 is roughly equal(outside width) to 18x 9.5 +39(38/40 is 1mm difference), so look up other setups and see how they fit and decide if you are ok with that look.

245/35 is a good tire size. Look up the specific tire and see the recommended rim width and the tread width to see how they should fit.

Camber/height/alignment would affect how they would fit.

I say the are a very good choice overall, not too wide, not too stancy pants, but not sunken in either.

Quick google search got me this pic. Looks good.

Be aware that you will be lowered less and will probably have less camber, so it may poke out at the top of the wheel slightly more.

Yeah, I spoke to the owner of that car. He ran 225/40/18 which just seems insane to me. That would be crazy stretched would it not?

I wouldn't call it a crazy stretch, but still stretched quite a bit at around ~2 inches or so. I ran a 225/40 on a 9.5 rim. Exposes rim/sidewall to get damaged more easily. The rims all had rock chips all around. I probably won't do it again.

you're close to what I'm seeking for..

I am getting Enkei TS9s 18 x 8... I am getting my wheels and tires from tirerack..
For some ideas for tires, I am between:

-Continentals Extremecontact DW
-HANKOOK VENTUS V12 EVO2
-PIRELLI P ZERO NERO GT

All good tires if you ask me
