Im not sure about brembo bbk fitment, remember backspacing also applies with bbks

Good coilovers should be adjustable to give you ride quality to a point, and then stiffer for track days, maybe someone w more coilover experience can chime in however..

Hey wheel aficionados!

I'm close to placing an order for TWS T66-F in the following fitment:

F: 18 x 8.5 +42
R: 18 x 9.0 +44

OR

18 x 9.0 +44 all around

What I wanted to know is will both these options fit with stock suspension? I do eventually plan on upgrading to coilovers but not sure how far down the line this will be.

As with any adjustable suspension you have a shitton of options to 'tune' the suspension, and the only way to truely know what is going to happen is to go out with tools and find a bumpy road and feel the changes. I have good knowledge of suspension on other types of chassis.

Preload, compression, rebound, etc will all affect ride. You can undo all the preload for more spring in the suspension, and soften the compression and the rebound to make the car literally bounce when it hits a bump. Likewise you can stiffen all that and make the car a rock. You can do everything in between.

Rule of Thumb: Add 4" to the rotor size to find the required wheel size for a given BBK.

That's a general guideline; it certainly doesn't mean that every wheel of that size will work. BBK manufacturers provide templates to help with this. More here: http://www.stoptech.com/technical-su...ment-templates.

So I finally ordered my SSRs in 18x9.5 +43 squared...but I just realized they put it down for the Super Low Disc. Will the super low disc cause any fitment issues? I dont know if this matters but ill be on no more than a 1.5" drop on coilovers. Hopefully someone can chime in asap so I can call to see if I could change it tomorrow! Thanks

Not without adapaters, stock bolt pattern is 5x100. You would need 5x114 to 5x100 adapters.

If possible I'd stick to wheels that come in 5x100.

15mm will set the wheels close to stock height ?

thanks

Stock height? The wheels be closer to flush than stock. Are you planning on lowering?

Stock wheel is shown in orange, the one you are proposing with 15mm adapters would look like the green. They should be pretty close to flush which is nice.

I'm not planning to lower the car, so there's less wheel gap with these 18's and spacers,

Wheel gap is not dictated by the offset, or the wheel. You can affect it by changing tire size, but that messes up your speedometer.

If you want to reduce wheel gap you have to lower it.

All I'm saying is that the wheel will be less sucked into the wheel well. You are still going to have the same wheel gap as stock.

I'm planning on buying 18x8.5 +44 for the front and back wrapped in either 225/40/18 or 235/40/18. What do you think will fit best and will I rub on stock suspension? I don't plan on lowering the car yet but I might get springs in a year time maybe to lower it from 0.5 to 1inch max.
