For the record, I was trying to find that sponsor information for over a month.

I'm waiting on some details now to finalize the pricing, and I will be making some tweaks as necessary. Right now having a bar is critical, and because of where the bar sits (and for cost purposes) the first bars will be non-adjustable. I will at some point offer an adjustable option but that will require new shorter endlinks. Which add cost and being in business I have to consider that.

Also the adjustment you see on most bars isn't that much of a change because of the angle the arm runs on. I'm looking to make my bar at least 2, ideally 3 way adjustable and that means pulling the end of it up out of the pocket between the tie rod end and the control arm.

Remember, I'm not just an autocrosser, but a pretty good one. I've developed lots of this stuff before. In a perfect world we get everything we want, but sometimes sacrifices must be made. Even an Eibach @ full soft will be a good be stiffer than mine. Mine being a bit stiffer than the heavier, solid Cusco 20mm bars. In short I'm looking for about the equivalent of 21-22mm bar with mine, without the weight.

Modesty.

7 Solo National championships, and something like 5 or 6 ProSolos ones as well. Yeah I think you are starting to get pretty good at this. I'm just glad you can figure out the setup part, I'm looking for the same magic I had with the Z06 after I bought the setup for it from you.

So I'm clear you are going to do endlinks or make a bar that can deal without for at least for some of the adjustments?

I assume that AndrewP is the same guy that won STU a couple years ago. Talent is starting to follow this car.

Crap. I was hoping to fly under the radar, but I guess my reputation precedes me.

As for my talent, well... that's still up for debate. I've driven on A6s all of two times so this whole Stock thing will be as new to me as anyone else.

Busted! If you want to hide, don't go to Nationals and win... or do it as a rookie.

Rest assured that we will get this figured out in short order. And I'm in almost constant contact with Koni. In fact I am sending my own personal OE dampers, mounts, etc to them for some final double checking, etc. I work closely with Koni, did the same for hte Mustang, and have developed a shock mount for the Corvette for their shocks too.

I co-drove John's car that Sam helped setup at Nats in RTR. It definitely was a bit loose for my taste although I tend to over drive the car a bit and my inputs could be a bit smoother at times. With that said, I think Sam will hit it on the head with the 22mm bar once the car has some upgraded dampers especially if it is 3-way adjustable to accommodate course/surface variables. I don't want to get into specifics of John's alignment as it is not my car, but it did have toe in on the rear that would be nice to dial out a bit.

Here is a video of East course that gives a better visual image of my driving style and what I feel was a bit too much over steer.

I zeroed out the rear toe yesterday and hope that helps. No way I'd go to 25 as it stands ...

(Note that Trevor and John said their identically prepped BRZ was hard to keep under them.)

I don't think we compared exact alignment specs, so I'm guessing the latter as well.

I posted my alignment a long time ago (in the original stock class thread here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...&postcount=134). Sam hadn't driven the car until recently so he is not to blame for the fairly extreme toe - that would be another local Z06 driver - plus a bit of feedback from 'Jr.' Johnson.

After driving the car at PittRace (low grip / really loose) the weekend after nats, I couldn't take the AD08's any more and ordered up some 235/40 Z1's! Ran them this past weekend in Cumberland and the car felt a good bit better - even better than I recall it being in Lincoln. With winter and Sam's bar coming soon, I figured I'd try another toe experiment and just had it backed out to 0.12 deg in each side today. Since my last change was toe and Cusco at the same time, it will be interesting to see if it makes much difference. If the weather doesn't make it a futile exercise, I'll be back at PittRace this Sunday to see.
