I don't like the forged CF roof, but if a fully spec'd Core model isn't that much less than the Circuit, I'll get the Circuit for the better seats.

Now here's my debate if the prices aren't crazy...color. I don't like black (just cuz it's hard to not mar/scratch the paint, and keep it looking clean). I don't like white unless it's a pearl white. So that's out since it's just plain white. I like supersonic red, but do I want two red AWD TB cars at the same time?

The heavy metal is interesting, but I'm sure it'll be $1k more, and looks to be an almost matte finish, which I'm not a big fan of.

They said it will still be a 23MY, so it'll probably release early 2023

I'm not even sure if we can put deposits yet.

I put a deposit down to get in line with a dealer early today. Really hoping I can get a Circuit car in red here in Canada.

Talked to my main guy and yes, they are accepting refundable deposits. I've also chatted with a few other Yota sales guys and have confirmed the same.

why?! why?! why?!

boring colors. all boring colors.

needs a yellow, blue, green, or purple!

i admit, i was a little curious. but the lack of color starts breaking things down, and the ipad-on-the-dash breaks my rule #1(must be able to drive the vehicle for an entire week without the oem radio installed).

Yeah, I'm a little disappointed with the color options. I think yellow only looks good on coupes, like the nitro yellow or what ever it is called for the Supra. That baby blue color that everyone's been doing is played out, and I'm glad it was not part of the options for the the GR. A different blue would be nice though. Green...once again, really only look good on coupes. A shade of darker purple would look good on the GR Corolla though.

I'll end up going with a heavy metal circuit grade.

The red one looks too...normal compared to even the normal corolla. All the bulges seem to disappear with it.

I think the GR Corolla looks pretty sick in that heavy metal colour. All the insanity of the GR upgrades is shown off better.

If the red is like the red on the GR4 Yaris that I saw in Osaka a couple years back, I'd take that one of the lot.

White is too overplayed, especially with what'll look to most people like a typical CUV/hatch. Black too, really.

I wouldn't mind if they did a nardo grey type color on it. A bit overplayed too but the Type R with that kind of color looks decent and I think it would fit the lines.

Would've been cool if they resurrected an older color like from the WRX Celica livery or maybe something metallic blue from the old A80 Supras. I really like what they did with Trueno Blue on the GR86's, but I guess they don't want colors to be shared much across models.
