Man, I just googled where you lived. I'd be a constant fixture at Lake Tahoe in the winter. Great conditions to use those heated seats lol.
It gets hot as hell here in the summer. Cooled seats would be great but they also add a lot of weight (considerably more than a heat function). Not worth it on something I'd want to keep the weight down on.

going by Canadian pricing:
The 2022 Golf R STARTS at $45,995 CAD The 2021 Civic Type R started at $46,200 CAD (Gonna assume the 2023 Type R starts there too.) The 2021 Subaru WRX STI started at $40,395 CAD (tops out at $47,895 CAD) Have to believe the GR Corolla is going to be in that over 40K ballpark. I'd hope its actually closer to the STI pricing (40K for the core, 45k for the circuit) rather than starting at over 46K like the other 2 (so 46k for the core, 50k for the circuit?) |

There’s this Corolla hatch I go by on my runs. It is slammed and has a roof box, it’s pretty cool for a Corolla. Also on my run I considered that potentially, a GR Yaris could be done.

When they start approaching on premium brands in cost then they better offer something special. Audi S3 or BMW 230i or M240i might or some other models might seem more appealing to many, despite any weight penalty. The cars end up being so niche, and even more so after the markups.
