how quick do you need it, and how many wires connect?

i was digging through my old audio gear and realized a while back i've got a couple i'm never going to use, but they're valuable somewhere enough to not throw away. just want to make sure they would work before sending them out.
I went to the store and bought new terminals since I need the car asap. The Mrs and I have different times which we report to work so I can't bum a ride off of her unless I wanna get to work late lol

Garage
Had a party line growing up. Still have the same number. Got it converted over to my cell phone now.
Even got awarded "The 206" back when they added area codes.
This dinky island is on the same exchange as downtown. Didn't get charged long distance.

My earliest vivid memory was of looking down from a window to watch a train slowly roll by. I shocked my mom when I told her the story back in my late twenties. My parents moved out of the third story of that triplex in Westchester, PA before my first birthday.

I know the feeling, sort of.

Couple years ago I had to have a shop replace the terminal and stuff because my third OEM battery from Subaru had leaked _really bad_ and corroded everything. It sucked because I had only had it replaced like 2 or so years before, right at the end of my warranty lol.

Very pricey work, so it's cool if you can do that yourself.

The soundbar went out on our main TV this week. It's about 15 years old so rather than repairing it (it's the power supply I'm pretty sure) I decided to buy a new one. Ran to Sam's Club because they had the one I wanted for the lowest price without driving 30 miles.

Got it home, went to install. It's a 5.1 system with remote subwoofer and two satellite speakers in addition to the bar. Open the box and everything looks OK except that the sound bar wasn't in the protective foam just right. No big deal. Unboxed the soundbar and went to hook it to the TV. WTF, it had the wrong power cord in the box. Then, I notice 1 of the two satellite speakers is missing.

All I can determine is someone did a reall good job or reboxing it before returning and Sams stuck it back on the shelf. Now I have to make a return trip and explain that it is missing pieces.

I have the bad habit when it comes to electronics, I open everything and check out if everything is normal as should be. Even if its a damn cable to charge my crappy phone. Wonder how anal I will become when I get more older...
