I know the update wiped out all the license/mission times, so I decided to go back. It gave me some bogus PB times since some of them were in the silver times. Guess I'll re gold the first two licenses. Haha

I'd redo those as well if they gave us new rewards, but they don't. Sigh.

One reason why I'm redoing them is to get used to the updated physics. Haha. Plus gives me a reason to play, especially since I didn't like the daily races last week.

The updated physics engine actually makes the corvette engine swapped miata way easier to drive, so there's that.

I spent some time in GT7 doing daily races and think it feels better then it did before the update. I notice it punishes you for trying to do too many inputs at once, braking too much while turning mainly. That previously, always felt broken to me.

That is one thing I noticed. Braking while turning is almost impossible now. Kinda makes trail braking harder to do.

Caved and got the Gr4 WRX. I see why so many people like it, so easy to drive consistently.

I did accidently kill someone on turn 3 of yesterday's race B at Nurburgring sprint layout.

Some asshole reset the fastest time and knocked me out the other day. Had to go do laps in that stupid van again to get back under the gold time. I hate T1 at Autopolis.

I found daily race A pretty fun and got some great races out of it so far. B is pretty good too but I get tired of getting punted sometimes.

Hmmm, I'll have to double check if I'm still in the gold range.

Well, redid almost all of the licenses (minus a couple in the S license) and got gold on everything. Didn't realize the gold prize car was a car I'll never use...smh

I still haven’t bothered to finish all the licenses. I did finish cafe book 39. It was pretty easy though even though I had never driven Sarthe before. I have been doing the circuit experiences trying to learn the tracks.

Was 39 the last Championship with the Gr3 cars?

I need to finish doing the CEs still. Can't remember how many I have left, but after the new update, I do know I'm slower. Wonder if I can still gold the remaining ones I have.

Yes. It’s 800pp which is way overkill. The AI is using standard cars from what I can tell.

I found the ce for goodwood surprising challenging. It’s a fun little track. Would be good in a low power car.

I haven't done that Championship in a while. But they did start you so faaar back from the leader, that I think you had to have an advantage over the AI.

I dunno why, but I was never a big fan of Goodwood. So I'm assuming that's one of the tracks I still need to complete the CE for. haha. It does seem like the GT7 puts older, lower powered cars for the races there.
