And here we are again: my idea of initial d and 86 is that once the last race of ae86 vs ae86, bunta goes to the Subaru plant in gumma and beat takumi again on the touge and takumi will then join the team led by tsuchiya San in circuit racing with his new 86.

And I got tho idea long time ago.

No problemo. After vol 40 or so finally the girls look pretty in the manga. Giccin definitely can beat Natsuki in the early volumes.

I love initial D, and I would love to see a new series where project D somehow competes in a track championship of some sort and face new challenges by having to both become familiar with a new car (86) among other things. And Takumi has more adventures with his girlfriend, and maybe Ituki and Iketani and Kenji could have more hilarious side adventures and hijinks.

Something along those lines, but anything really would make me happy. I even liked the movie :]

I really hope there is a fifth stage for Initial D.

Personally not a big fan of manga for ID, it's missing the motion, sound effects, and music that made the anime version very exciting to watch.

I still blast the ID sound track sometimes when I'm driving. I miss my 86 so much .

For me, the appeal of ID is Takumi beating the other cars in his old 86. It's the look of shock on everyone's faces when they say "Hachi-Roku?!!" as he pulls up to race. From a realism standpoint, the AE86 is lighter than the new 86 by about 400lb, and with a balanced and tuned Blacktop 4AGE it has more power, making it a better race car.

Not sure if you guys are aware but funimation has released the whole initial D sub and the redone dub on youtube. I actually dont mind this dub. It grew on me and it gave me a few good laughs lol.

Manga is intense right now, it's gonna be awhile till they get close to ending the arc I mean they haven't even raced the NSX. THE NSX O___O!!!!

Right now im at the part where ryosuke is battling that guy in the r32, its soo intense!! It keep leaving you with a cliffhanger!
