Of note is that only automatic-equipped cars are supported.

I try to avoid driving though areas that make me want to lock my doors...but here in small town NH, there's not an abundance of shady areas. The problem with shift indicators is they don't know the road conditions...and the one in my car seems to ignore engine load, but it's not distracting like the one in my truck.

On a side note, is there a setting that will allow the car to lock itself after you walk away?

The lack of this feature might have something to do with this being a sports car. You don't want anything to make the track's rescue crew's job harder.

Yesterday, after work, I left the car unlocked overnight. When I came out to go to work, I noticed my glove box was open and stuff was on the passenger seat. I checked the trunk and a work out bag was emptied and stuff was all over the trunk. Luckily, the car was not damaged and the stereo was not taken.

My friend asked if the car automatically locks the doors after 30 seconds. He has a prius and his does that. I wish mine did. Lost about $200 worth of stuff.

I don't know how someone doesn't lock their car when they leave it unattended. *shrug*

I'd like to know how to turn the alarm on too. If someone finds the procedure please post.

Agreed. Let's face it folks: NOT ALL CARS HAVE THE SAME FEATURES. For those who have not yet bought a car that they are considering: KNOW THIS BEFORE YOU BUY!

For example: If your previous ride was a Mercedes or a Cataract don't expect the same.

The doors auto lock. lock the car, unlock with key fob, open passenger door, close passenger door. Car will lock. It stays unlocked if you open the driver door.

Story:
My backpack is sitting on the passenger seat. I unlock my car and set the key on the seat while I grab my cell phone out of my backpack. I shut the door. Then realized, I need my key! I reach for the handle and right before I open the door. LOCKED! Good thing I have a spare key hidden.
