I'm in the wrong Vancouver (Washington, not BC), but I'm thinking it's time for a road-trip up to the motherland to get mine done by a proper canuck.

I insisted our car NOT be touched when delivered:

Its hard to tell, but I kept the white wrap on the car for a week, even auto-Xed with it before I brought it in for ceramic coating.

Cheers for the thread..... I had it written in the contract that not even the protection tape/plastic is to be removed before i take delivery....

I recommend everyone else do the same... The kid at the dealership washing the dust of ur brand new car doesnt give a sh*t about u nor the sh*tty low paying job he is doing....

Same with the interior plastics... Have it stated in the agreement they r to be left on and the interior is to be left untouched...

But each to there own....

No worries. We can have you in and out in a day, even if light polishing is needed.

My Firestorm FR-S came with some scratches and spider webbing in some areas courtesy of the Dealership and their lot porters who wash the cars daily. It worked in my favor as i knew i could get them out with my polisher and more importantly i got them to throw in a lo jack system for free and paid for 2 years due to the scratching or the deal was off!! But yes i would say skip any dealer washes and pay close attention to the paint and do a walk around as i did.
