I've had issues before but as previously stated it was because I had my keys in the same pocket as my phone. Since then separating them has fixed it.

If your cell phone is in the pocket closer to the car/sensor, it could interfere with your remote.
I usually have my cell phone on my right side belt and keys in left pocket. I make sure my left side is unopstructed to the car and don't try to open the door as quick as possible. Slight pause before I pull on the handle. |

Here is my whole story. I got the car and it was raining, the keys worked fine w/out problems. The next day the keys are not working right, the keys only work when i place it at the rear seat of the passenger side. my conclusion is that there are some problems when the car got wet. The next day, the car was dry and i tried it again and it worked fine. After 3 hours or so the same problem occurred but its not raining and the car is dry. I also tried replacing the batteries.

Try standing on your right foot and touching your nose with your left index finger as you try opening it.
i find this makes you look really stupid as you do it, but it is effective.

I second the above post. I keep my keys in my left coat pocket and keys are always in my left pocket for me. I never have issues getting in and out of the car. I open the door, sit down, shut the door, put my seat belt on, push clutch in foot on brake, push start button. Only Issues I have are reaching for keys after driving to get out haha!
I would take it to the dealership or try getting in the car in a less hurry. |

This thread reinforces my decision to just get the Premium (without the keyless access). When Guido "the Brute" Palozzolinski from Detroit is chasing me down I won't have to worry about getting the car started quick enuf.

hahah I finally know what happened. It seems that the house itself makes the problem. When I go to a different place, everything works except My House.

Must be some big EM field at your house - you running a large-scale grow op that's sucking 500 amps off the street mains?

Could it be your garage door opener being on a similar frequency?
