This is a really good article to me. I haven't read the replication mechanism of SARS CoV 2 and what changes the variants actually are. I think you can also google this for a non pdf format to include some animations if you're not reading it on your phone or whatever.

This is a public health issue. If someone is divorced from the public, no amount of my poorly construed explanations are going to reunite them to a stance that will make their decisions align w the rest of the public.

There’s the ‘on this day’ thing on FB. Back in 2014 when Ebola was in really serious throes, I asked if the anti-vaxx people would feel the same about an Ebola vaccine. Someone commented about how they would feel if the person next to them was unvaccinated because they couldn’t afford it unless from public health care?

What we’re in now is fucking stupid. On my campus, everyone is needed to have self attest their vaccine status (or exemptions). Even still, there were 16 positive cases 9/27-10/1. That’s a severely depopulated university campus. This round of Delta variant is underestimated. Covid isn’t going away because of this vaccine/mask resistance. I think most people looking back on history could argue we could have moved out of it through vaccination.

What percentage of them have a fatalistic view of our point in now in history?
