If anyone is interested, I got the moderna booster last Wednesday. Effects were slight swelling and discomfort at the injection site and, maybe, slight fatigue. All vanished within three days.

then again, "natural immunity" is absolutely not at all guaranteed if you're infected. vax is significantly better at providing protection.

In my case the booster side effects were substantially lighter than the second shot of the Moderna product. The second shot left me dragging for a couple of days. Achy, sore, flu-like. After the booster, it was just a hint of fatigue. I could almost chalk it up to just getting (or at least feeling) old. I was talking to my DIL's father yesterday and his booster experience was a bit more intense than mine. But, then again, his second shot side effects were worse than my second shot effects. I'm not sure how he'd compare the two.

The Moderna "booster" is half the dosage of the first two shots. My understanding is the Pfizer "booster" is a third full dose. This fits in with what I've read about the relative "strength" of the two vaccines.

The Pfizer booster didn't even leave me with a sore arm. Complete non-event. Of course, I had only minor reactions to the first two.

Got the Moderna booster this morning. If I have any side effects I'll let you fellas know.
I had the J&J back in April with zero side effects.
