i think of it as running rota's on my car.
That's great, so DON"T BY AN AP PRODUCT THEN! Im not a supporter of Vivid or AP, and I don't plan on using their product, but im sick of everyone posting negative stuff about them. No one is forcing you to buy their product! The OP had some stuff installed, and he likes it. That's it. No reason for any input about why he should have gone with something else, that's all.

Yes, lets all trust the guy that posted huge gains from pulleys and a 40whp from a exhaust which he only admitted was a "mistake" after a bunch of members called him out on it.

Vivid and AP have big staff changes every year; they're known for having one of the highest turnovers of employees in the industry, so your point is irrelevant.

Ok, you win. I hate starting arguments on a car forum. You can have this one. I am just trying to make a point. I hate green beans, but im not going to join a farming forum to let everyone know my opinion on green beans. Didn't we join this forum because of a common interest in a car? So why does it matter if someone makes their own decision to by from a specific vendor? Or purchase Rota wheels? Who are we to judge? There sure are a bunch of snobs on here for people who drive a Scion...

I will be quite honest here, I had NEVER EVER heard of Vivid before this forum. You can search their Dyno threads and find me defending them, willing to give them the opportunity. Time and time again, I spoke about giving them an opportunity.

Two things happened that made me completely change my opinion against them and very quickly.

First, they went through 3-4 people posting from their account. People disappeared out of nowhere and a "supposedly" new one took his place. And even moreso, the excuses they used for the people changed raised eyebrows.

Second, they were called out BIG TIME regarding copying products, overseas production and flat out lying and they simply had no answer. They were left speechless. They went away quietly and did not post much more else anymore. Like they literally didn't even deny it because they were called out on truth.

I won't be touching them with a 50 feet pole anytime soon.

Opposed, I think most people genuinely don't care if anyone buys stuff from them, besides everyone can do with their money exactly what they want.

What gets people riled up about the topic is when someone tries to defend them or say they do X and Y good. They have been called out and it is widely known what are their practices.

I am not arguing with you at all, I am super calm. Just offering you antoher point of view.

I agree with you 100%. I watched all of their threads from start to finish and I saw a lot of red flags with what was going on. Im not mad at anyone either, its just annoying when a happy member gets a new toy, wants to show it off (you know what it feels like) and all the responses he gets are from people who don't care about what he purchased, or how he feels, they just need to spread their 2 cents you know?

Well the difference in my post and your post is that you just qouted what Vivid said as a fact to prove that we should all stop saying negative things about them as they are new owners now and my post is filled with incidents that occur after they were given a clean slate on this forum as well as a link to the source (their own website) that back what I say and shows that there are contradictions to what is said by them on the forums and on their own site.

Not sure how I am the one thats following sheep here

either way like I said before I don't care who buys from them or who they sell too but I don't agree with false advertisiment

I joined the community in hopes we would share info and help each other out... I think pointing out false info counts as helping out the community. This forum is here to help the ft86 owners not the vendors

Fair enough, I agree with this statement. I didn't mean to make it sound as if you were the sheep follower, it just seems to be the general public.

I gotta admit - I have NEVER seen a shop so full of knowledge, dedication and friendliness like Prime Motoring. This may come out as a marketing ploy, but great work deserves great review! I came in for a pulley install and walked out with my Agency Power pulley installed AND Agency Power Headers he had in the shop! The car's dead zone is gone and the umph is noticeable!!!

Again- Thanks Mike @ Prime Motoring! We gotta finish the rest of the exhaust in a few weeks!

Thank you very much for the kind words Kevin, it was a pleasure working on your vehicle. We should meet up at Edgewater Commons sometime, we'll treat you to some Starbucks lol.

As for the Agency hate, this is a new Agency Power. They are not the same reps as before who just didnt care. We work very closely together since we sell lots of their parts and also test many of their parts on our inhouse FRS before release. They are trying to right the wrong of years past and appreciate feedback in order to get things right. The exhaust fitment on our FRS in spot on and the sound and look is just incredible. Anyone skeptical, we urge you to stop by and check it out for yourselves.

What the hell happened here??? I posted a Light Weight Pulley install and my great experience at Prime Motoring and it became a product bashing... Just so everyone knows - it's been about 300 miles since the install and I have ZERO issues and 300 miles of damned good experience with the additional horse power. If you don't like the product, don't buy it - list or don't listen to others about their products whatever... I'm going to continue buying AP parts through Prime Motoring and if I run into issues, I'll be sure to have it looked into by Mike before posting a bad review about it. I got into the japanese car game very recently, so I don't know any positive/negative history on products and companies. Like many I do my own review and due diligence on anything before buying.

Believe me - I'll be sure to let you guys know of any BAD experience I have!

Nobody tried to bash you or your review. We are all glad thinks are working good for you. It snowballed a little bit because of past history with Vivid/AP and some current history too. Just read out about it and make your own conclusions.

Again, I'm very happy its all working great for you and hope it stays that way. Thanks for posting your experience.
