^^^ This is why people need to read and learn before just assuming hearsay are facts. There are tons of people here who claimed 3rd gear pulls make more power than 4th gear pulls all the time and on any dyno.

do you have an AT or MT? if you're a MT, just leave it in 6th gear.

Auto... So it keeps spinning and spinning... Someone got in contact with me that's local. I'm looking to have it installed tomorrow/Friday - not sure about Dynos now... guess I'll go by butt dyno :/

Ok, I wanted to update everyone - although I haven't dyno'd the car, I managed to get the pulley installed with the help of Mike and his team at Prime Motoring in East Rutherford NJ. I gotta admit - I have NEVER seen a shop so full of knowledge, dedication and friendliness like Prime Motoring. This may come out as a marketing ploy, but great work deserves great review! I came in for a pulley install and walked out with my Agency Power pulley installed AND Agency Power Headers he had in the shop! The car's dead zone is gone and the umph is noticeable!!!

Again- Thanks Mike @ Prime Motoring! We gotta finish the rest of the exhaust in a few weeks!

I don't trust Agency Power. Especially the craftsmanship and quality. That's just my opinion.

+1

Their history of rebranded cheap, Chinese parts and lack of R&D on actual cars burned that bridge a long time ago.

Not this all over again...that was years ago, under the old owners. He has proven (with pics) that R&D as well as manufacturing is done in house, here in the USA.

Agreed. Their actions in the subie community have brought me to the point of warning others about their tactics.

True enough but what about their recent issues of posting up false dynos and numbers and advertising power gains on parts that don't do anything.

example of this other than the pulley I already mentioned would be their headers which made no power when John dyno them and when vivid dyno them but on the site they are listed as being bolt on horsepower.

Either way I don't care if they stay on the forums or if others buy from them but I sure as hell won't

Also about that R&D I haven't seen any from them. Not like Perrin, Nameless or SRT which all have build and proving threads. Most of their threads are finished products featuring dyno charts with numbers too good to believe.

Again you are wrong about the made in USA. Check out their site it even states that their exhaust systems are off shored which contradicts what vivid said.

I know for a fact that's not the case. They still sell rebranded Chinese-made parts to the GT-R community, as well as a few others.

I'm not sure what all "old owner" stuff is about either, since Vivid Racing is still the parent company of Agency Power. They try and make themselves seem as separate entities, but do some research and you'll find that's not the case.

yea agency powers IS vivid racing. gosh, they sucked back in early 2000 lol and still suck today. my friend had an agency power catback on his wrx and ugh, the quality was poop. i've read lots of crap about their parts for the wrx/sti community.

i think of it as running rota's on my car.

Here is a quote from John at Vivid racing in the AP exhaust part 2 thread...

"This is why I take this so personal. I have been at Vivid since April. We have had a full staff change over since the old days. Lets all just take a step back and understand I am doing the best I can at the speed I can do it. I also have to work with other people. We are a big place. I can’t just load the car up and run. "
