Fuel starvation, can't fill tank to FULL?

Will it fit under stock seats? Is street car...

Looking at a picture of our fuel tank, there are two fuel basket openings, one on each side. May be able to run a second fuel basket with pump on the passenger side, but plumb the outlet to dump into the fuel basket on the driver side and use that to feed the car.

Before going through all of that, @ZDan might want to simply replace his fuel pump and filter to eliminate that as a possible cause. These pumps aren't that expensive and they are relatively easy to replace.

Have we gotten any logs on the fuel pressure and/or fuel pump motor current draw during a fuel starvation incedent yet? That would help to determine the cause.

I don't know if there is a PID for pump current, it may require some duct tape, a camera, and a multimeter to get those.

Radium engineering do a replacement pump assembly and you can run 2, one each side of the tank

They are also running a surge tank with two additional pumps to feed a V8. The pump hanger with one pump is 670/ea. An OE fuel pump is 377 from subaru, and around 150-180 for a parts store for an aftermarket. For someone like me it may be worth exploring running two OE fuel baskets and running them together. Otherwise I will just keep a full tank.

The part I received is most definitely 3d printed plastic...

[edit]HA! Wrong, it's black painted or powdercoated aluminum. I removed it as at best it didn't help my issue (same starvation after extended left at Palmer) and at worst might have caused additional issues (starvation after long straight and *right*-hander at Thompson, at ~15/16 tank!)

I'll be damned, I just removed it and the part is indeed cnc machined aluminum painted or powder-coated black, and *not* 3d printed plastic!

My initial impression of the part based on it being one piece (rather than previous version which look to have had a pressed in pin), gloss shiny black, and being practically weightless (this is due to it being massively hogged-out on the backside). I installed it thinking it was plastic, being careful not to snap off the pivot pins! But yeah, machined aluminum...
