No negativity in the "Overall" section for BRZ, while the Lambo and Jag has a few negative quips.

I'm going to guess Mustang, Mercedes, and Camaro... with Mustang best of the group

Then final group Porsche, GT-R, McLaren... with McLaren best of the group

And 2012 Drivers Car winner goes to... BRZ (even though it really should be FR-S... )

Next set of hot laps are up:

Shelby GT

Overall: The Shelby is a car you really have to drive. It takes what you've got and actually will respond to it. It will follow commands, but it's kinda rude about it. It's not sophisticated, but I love the car. It sure delivers on performance and enjoyment and a good ol' American good time. A VERY powerful and tossable ponycar that needs better brakes for the track.

GT-R

Quote:
Overall: I thought the car was a lot better last year than the first year. The first car had a lot of mid-corner understeer under power, the second one didn't, and now this one does again. It's predictable, it's never scary, but it's costing time in corners for sure. You just have to wait, wait, wait on the power. It was kinda frustrating because there's so much potential in every other way.

So far, based on Randy's closing comments Im guessing its Carrera, BRZ, then Shelby

Looks like the BRZ and the 911 are in the lead. The two lowest-power cars. Somewhere on YouTube recently (maybe on one of these MT videos or webpages, or maybe Top Gear UK) that low-powered cars are a lot easier to tune than high-powered ones. I wonder if we are seeing that effect here.

Is it just me, or does Probst not know how to drive the GTR? I felt like he was taking it easy in it comparing the lap to others.

Nice job on the BRZ!

It has more neutral handling than its Scion twin and is less prone to understeer

Overall, Randy's tone seems to be more positive for the BRZ than the 911. Looking forward to the last group.

I'm pretty sure Randy Probst knows how to drive the GT-R more than any of us on this forum.

I thought Randy love the 911 and didn't say anything negative at all about it.

No, GTRs look like they are being driven easy when they are tracked. They just look like everything is effortless. Notice he still put down a smoking fast lap time.
