Short version is they saw the McDonald's denominator was a bigger number and didn't understand how fractions worked.

And a lot of those people were/become politicians. That’s why the world is so fracked up now!

not really. anyone that can afford to run for any political office wouldn't typically eat at a fast food restaurant for the same reasons they won't be seen in a 20 year old toyota camry.

but that does make up a good majority of eligible voters....

All the more reason we should have gone with the metric system.

Metric just doesn't have the same ring as a '1/4 pounder', just get the feeling you're getting more... well, more than a '1/3'...

You're right. "Do you want fries with .1133kilogramer?" Doesn't sound too appetizing.

UGH! Well, now that you asked. During the last three weeks, I have felt extremely weak in my hips and legs. Walking a couple hundred feet makes me sit down. I have had X-rays of my back and hips and a MRI of my pelvic region. I have a CT scan scheduled for next week.

The PCP nor the neurosurgeons can see anything wrong. I'm going to physical therapy twice a week to try to "fix" myself.

Our daughter, son-in-law and two of the three granddaughters either have or are recovering from COVID.

My wife is down with a bad cough, chest congestion, stuffy head and a slight fever.

I think we are in competition with the HO family -

Well, thanks for asking -

Thanks for the suggestion. What I am doing in a ATI physical therapy program sounds like a pilates type of program. Hopefully it will do some good.

Americans hate grammar. And spelling of course...

Also, hope y'all get through everything. Health issues suck.

I was gifted COVID a week after a booster or so... at least 12 days after the jab I had a 39.7° (103.4°) fever... On a business trip supposed to end with leisure activities, so I was in London. 15 days after the fever still testing positive. On the other hand, my wife joined me 11days after the jab and we spent a week in the same hotel room and she's managed to stay uninfected. Meanwhile I haven't been able to do my usual regimen so the arthritis in my back is acting up... Messed up food schedule has a whole slew of gut mess going on. Getting old sucks. Though that's still better than the alternative.
So... Hang in there.
