TurboWerx Spartan High Temp Oil Pump
$150 SHIPPED
Selling my external oil pump. I used this to make sure my turbo drain was not backing up into the turbo (oil cooled only) since I couldn't get the drain angle I was satisfied with without it being too close to the headers. This pump is somewhat loud, you could hear it in the car and outside the car. This pump ran extremely well, I never had an issue with it. I had mine wired to acc-on power to make sure it turned on before the car started. Ran this at 104 F in traffic all the way down to -17f and it never hesitated for a moment- also added oil capacity to the system and helped lower the oil temps by letting the -an lines passively cool via ambient air temps. I upgraded the shitty plastic fittings with aluminum ones for -AN fittings. I am including all extra wiring I used to power this, since it's not purpose built for any car specifically; you don't need to use what I provide, but can use as a reference if you need guidance on the relay, fuse link, etc that I had set up. I sheathed all of the wiring and weather proofed the plugs, since this car was my daily in Vermont winters as well. Only rust is on 2 screws in the back of the pump (see photos). I drilled 2 holes in the crash bar to mount this and included the bolts/nuts I used- I would replace them, as they have some corrosion. I am including them so you can bring them to a hardware store and buy new hardware for about $4. Hit me with any questions, I would definitely recommend this to anyone concerned with oil pressure/drain from the turbo. Last edited by DarkPira7e; 08-22-2020 at 03:35 PM. |
