I doubt we will even see the 304HP version in Australia. Makes no sense at those prices. We will probably only see the 405HP and the Nismo, but it looks like the base 405HP will be Supra priced unfortunately.

Assuming the new Z is like the Q50/Q60 trims all sharing the same drivetrain, engine, turbos, trans etc... all you need is a 500$ JB4 to make any/all trims 400/400 to the wheels. FBO E85 + tune for 500/500 to the wheels, upgraded oem turbos for 600/550 to the wheel although stock trans reliability is questionable beyond 500ft lbs, or bigger turbos for 800/650 to the wheels with level ten trans, and rods/pistons. VR30DDTT can make some big power. Get the cheapest trim that has whatever “luxery comforts” you want and let the aftermarket make you power.

It’s interesting that on a forum dedicated to the Twins, including the ‘Toyota’ 86, only 23% said they’d take a Supra next to 76% who voted for the Z. I guess people prefer an all JDM sportscar?

Except now that we've seen the Z out of the shadows, I'd change my vote to neither unless it's massively changed before production.
