yeah it's Premier. There are definitely cheaper places to go for clear bra and window tint but I trust them because they are some of the best installers and they did a great job on my previous cars. Still, it's one thing to go for top of the line install on a Lexus or Porsche, another to be doing it for a Subaru. Unforunately Premier only offers the two most expensive films now, no cheaper options. Not sure that I want to spend so much this time around - might just go with someone like Wyman when the time comes since others have had good results with him. Would be nice to know what material he is using though, to compare the specs against other similar films/options.

I am not sure if it's the install or what but my last Premier tint didn't come out well, I still see some particles and distortion after 2 years. They were using a film called IR cut, it cut the heat but didn't cut as much as the best stuff.
I don't think you need such expensive tint on a FR-S with such a small cabin. You A/C will still work great with any ceramic tint out there.. I'm getting a bra installed there though, they have a new film now no longer ventureshield, I wasn't happy with the ventureshield they were using, and every one else is using ventureshield so to avoid ventureshield I choose to go there, probably paying $100-$200 more than other shops. Check out the Rocky mountain tint in Livermore, many references and fair prices for the ceramic formula one tint. I just got mine done there. |
