I was told all manual cars make a lot of noises nothing to worry about. Even though I have been driving over a year noises are still there. One thing to note 1st to 2nd gear is always a pain in the b*** especially from the cold start.

Just need a louder stereo. Then I wont hear the throw out bearing, direct injectors, fuel pump, rocker arms, shift linkage, dash creaks, road noise, suspension crackles, differential groan.....

All MTs do make sounds when you shift. People that are used to FWD or AWD just don't hear them since the transaxles are located up ahead of them. The MT in this car is only a couple of feet down and directly in line with from your ears. Add in the fact that it has tissue paper for insulation and the result is you hear every little snick and click. You also get more noise since the shifter is directly attached to the tranny instead of through a bunch of cables or rods that all absorb the sounds.

When the tranny is cold just go neutral to second give it a blip and up into first. Works every time for me.

I'm approaching six years of ownership, and mine is still coming up with new and interesting sounds.

I remember when I was worried about the throttle body sound when blipping the throttle on downshifts...

Need a thicker inlet tube. Run smoother and gain 5 horsepower too.

I can't tell if you are serious, but I haven't heard it since I installed my Perrin tube and a high flow filter, so... Yeah.

I did get +5hp too, but that was definitely from the sticker I added at the same time.
