2 weeks via Autotrader.com. I put a deposit in January for Hot Lava MT, and by the first of July, I gave up on my dealer and started looking online. It took me a week to find one that was available "in transit", then another week for it to arrive and be prepped at the dealer about 150 miles from my home.

I drove 5 minutes down the street and bought it in about 3 hours. Took a little while for the finance guys to do their work but other than that pretty much no wait. White out FRS manual.

Bad news, folks... Guy messed up my request and put me down for an Argento FR-S. Called the dealership back and they don't have any in Whiteout coming in. Apparently they're making a call to NY to shuffle their allocation to get a Whiteout from the ship. We'll see what happens. I was so excited too...

-Edit-

Apparently they were able to make the switch... I'll believe it when I see it on the lot.

Btw if any of you are still trying to get an FR-S and are in the Northern VA area, I posted this thread with some dealerships that still have cars left in their allocations for this month...

Waiting Time

I ordered in East TN in early June after driving both MT and AT. July 9 was my date. Then on about July 1, I was told "August 9." Since I had already sold my 2003 Civic Si, I needed a car. Went on-line to look for the car in Toyota's SE Region using a Florida Scion dealer's website. (None of the dealers in my region had the link to inventory.) Found one with no options (my choice) in AL. Also found one in TN via Edmund's website. Called at 9 PM June 25, bought at noon next day. Surf, seek and ye shall find. Will have it serviced at local dealer, who has been excellent already on a couple minor (fit and finish) warranty items. Also had Paint Protective Film and mudguards installed there.

Glad you could finally get your car. Still awaiting mine, but I have been given a date. Just hope it isn't a bunch of car salesmen bs. Also, I'm not getting the Paint Protective Film from the dealership, but I am going to get some sort of clear bra on the front bumper and hood at a highly recommended place. Figured it was better to spend $300 rather than $900 on something that does the same job. Maybe you can find someplace other than the dealership to get some sort of protective film...? I would suggest shopping around.
