Can our 86 run on E85 stock or do you have make changes for it to run on E85?
If you want to run e85 full time or switch maps sure, I spent a bit extra and went for the e85 sensor, so the car can run any combination of 98RON - E85

not sure if this is a noob question but with stock internals will the engine internals crack/fail over a period of time running that setup?

For now FA seems to mean F@CKING Awesome, its going to take some weeks or months to find out if at 8psi it means FAILING ALWAYS or stays with the first meaning

The timer has been started - lets see how long it goes, bit like an engine blow contest, just a matter of waiting - and some never blow

Surely someone has got their hands on the internals and can guestimate the power stock engine can hold.

Efficent intercooling, e85 and sane boost levels will make this thing live for quite a while imho, great results!

Oh cool! Yeah, i was thinking about doing the same thing, because E85 is not exactly available all over the place. You reckon you can PM me the approx price you did for your set up?

^ you'd be best off just calling CHE. Just tell them what you're after and I'm sure they'll give you a drive in drive out price.

How come the inlet temps are so low on those graphs, or is the sensor not hooked up correctly. Would that affect the power readings?

Maybe *ring* CHE and ask?

Seriously I got hold of the car today and it's stupidly quick. No lag, just all power.

I will be getting down to WSID asap first to get a MPH reading down the quarter and maybe then later a 1/4 mile attempt. That pretty much the **ONLY** dyno that matters. Everything else is just a piece paper with a number written on it.

They are low because it is cold in Sydney.
As long as the two temps (AT and IT ) are similar power is the real deal.
