If it always whined, you probably bought a kit that had a damaged supercharger, and over time, the failure got worse until it becomes catastrophic and the supercharger either sizes or the shaft snaps. Replace that unit immediately. |

Thanks for the help guys. This is just an unfortunate situation. I pulled it off after work today and I know you're not supposed to spin it off the vehicle but it was very rough when I spun it.
Recommendations? Replace it, try to pull it apart and fix it, or does anyone know anyone that rebuilds these? I'm very mechanically incline. |

After all's said and done, I think five grand is definitely worth it to boost your car and seperate it from the crowd adding 50%+ whp from factory. It sucks that you need to buy a new kit, but I'd def do it if(knock on wood) my c30 went bad.
