Great car, and great upgrades. Will I be seeing your team out at the track this summer?

Doubt this car will be raced, but who knows. My next car is gonna be a dedicated track athlete, while this one is merely to tickle my need to be different

Almost done...lets just go ahead and say that today sucked...it's all the fiddly crap like running wires and vacuum lines through the firewall, vacuum line routing, and generally not having a damn clue as to how all this is supposed to be routed.

Right now all I have left to do is wire the AEM Failsafe (shouldnt be too hard as long as I can find a decent wiring diagram of the car), put the bumper on, put the wheels on, and get the base map in it.

Well I'm gonna run it lightly for a bit while I save money for the flex fuel setup and tunes, but the end goal is 425+Hp. I have a bunch of stuff left to do to the rest of the car as well, as I work on getting the car show worthy. I'm not gonna be blinging it out, and it will be a daily driver, but I take very good care of my toys so we'll see what I can do.

The hard part is getting a magazine to do an article on it...that's the real goal, and with that comes sponsorships, free advertising ya know! It seems like companies are skeptical to get behind a privately owned car nowadays. I remember back in the late 90's, manufacturers of parts for imports were throwing sponsorships out left and right, now all that goes to shop built cars...which is kinda lame, because shops can afford to build the things in the first place, while the grassroots owners have to nickel and dime to get their cars together. Just a little beef I have with tuner shops, kinda why i do my own work instead of paying someone to do it, gotta save money where I can.

Here's some shots of the car sitting in the garage waiting for Visconti to work some magic on it.

Car looks badass with the grille taken out and showing off the intercooler! It sucks that the front crash bar is showing- could you have just trimmed off the bottom portion so to hide the crash bar?

Looking back, I kinda wish I went with a vented seibon hood.. Oh well, post a vid when it's on the dyno! I'll have mine on the dyno with the Full Blown kit hopefully later this week.

The crash bar could be cut some, but not enough to actually hide it all since the intercooler is mounted to it. I'll just paint it matte black and call it a day since this bumper is only temporary while i wait for Chargespeed to get off its ass and make my damn bumper.

As for dyno figures I'll try and get it on one this week or next depending on my schedule and that of any dyno shop's schedules out here.

lol Didn't mean to confuse you- I meant trim the plastic grille. It'll probably turn out like the mustache on the BRZ.. I kinda like the idea of just painting it matte black.

Don't hog Visconti too much, I'll be needing him next month!

Ah yeah I was just looking at it to see what i could do to it, might do some dremel art with it and see if i cant get the grille to fit. I think John is heading out tonight, must be tough playing with GT-R's at a racetrack all weekend

You need to remove your signature please if you aren't a paying vendor, sorry supermassive but we pay a lot of money to be able to sell here.

No biggie, wish they wouldn't have removed my initials from my name though. Got ahead of myself, was going to become a vendor in Feb. but wanted to check out the forum first, see how the community was.
