Any response on the ClutchMasters FX400 6-puck clutch and flywheel so far?

How are the feelings?

Well before I took her off the road to prep for the turbo install, the clutch was fine. Seems to be breaking in really fast and I am getting used to the pedal now that engagement is rather abrupt. Just gotta get used to revving a little higher before giving a little slip from stops. The clutch is noisy though, now that it has broken in some, it makes a bit of noise, and it really doesnt like when you run low rpms in gear. My gas mileage has also decreased due to the way the rpms drop and rise...which also has the adverse affect of making it much more fun to shift

A 6 puck setup is not ideal for the street, but I don't have much choice since there are no other options available that can hold more than 300ftlbs of torque...hell the ACT 6 puck is only rated to like 345ftlbs which should be fine, but the Clutchmasters FX400 is rated to 500ftlbs so i doubt I'll kill it

thanks for the response!

I was planning to stick with HKS LA Clutch, which claims to be good upto 400whp\295lbfts, which should suit my needs with AVO Stage_2

I wish to keep as much low-rpm comfort as possible, as I daily drive it in huge jams

Nice quick review on the clutch. I got the same one... gonna need it since I'm running around 400lbs TQ... My Guess. Shifting shouldn't be hard on me since the Lotus is so unforgiving on shifts lol

The Invo's are actually really good street rubber, i was pretty surprised on our little trip out to Apache Trails how much cornering grip they have when warmed up...I was taking those 10-15mph turns at like 35-40mph and had zero squirm or even a hint of losing traction. The best thing is that when it does actually rain these tires perform even better than i could have imagined. Great wet grip, almost no hydroplaning, and gave me confidence where the stock rubber had me feeling iffy in some turns.

Not racing, it will go to the track for the occasional track day, and i may AutoX it but not too competitively, I just enjoy building cars so when i saw the FR-S i knew it would be fun to stuff a turbo in it. I enjoy powerful cars so I wanted my FR-S to be a bit more ballsy is all. The 818R though might get raced if they make a class for it since its pretty extreme at 1550 lbs with over 300HP...
