You CANNOT launch an auto FR-S from a dead stop in the powerband. Sorry.

John have you talked to Don about Phils email regarding launching from a dead stop?

Sorry if this has been covered already... What changes would one expect using 91 octane vs 93? How much upside is limited if I add the usual bolt on's (intake, pulley, catback). Trying to weigh price vs. performance and also the convenience of only filling one type of gas 100% of the time vs. 25% E85 fills.

I need to find a automatic that's local to me that will let me spend sometime with their car - like a day on the dyno

You need to find the nearest bar and have a couple tall cold ones first.

John can re-tune the Eatern Seaboard to make Florida local to Connecticut! Talk about gains!

Hope you find that auto soon, there's gotta be someone out there willing to go to CT and spend a day!
