General question regarding factory/OEM ECU updates like the one currently floating around for the injectors.

When Toyota/Subi creates an updated ECU tune, does that "tune" get passed through to ECUTek as a base file that the various tuners then modify with their individual tweaks?

I'm trying to figure out if additional ECU changes from Toyota/Subi are released over time (for things that may not even be performance related) will always filter down to the tuners though ECUTek so customers get the most updated OEM tune adjusted/tweaked for performance by their tuner of choice.

Just trying to understand the process.

Most of the time, yes, but it's still good to confirm with your specific tuner.

Loving 1.13, it just seems to keep getting better and better. I think I got it early because I've been doing logs for a while.

Quick question: Say you send in a data log because of a specific problem (ie. throwing a code because of a lean condition) and John sends back a modified tune. When a new tune version comes out is it the same tune for everyone or will he send a modified tune based on an earlier datalog that you sent him?

People who have purchased ProECU kits and new tunes are getting the lastest flash - no point sending them old stuff. Ill let everyone know when I'm ready to handle 50+ tune update requests.
