After the tune, how long (many miles/kms) does it take for it to be running as well as it can?

After the initial flash, the car goes into a diagnostic mode for 30-60 seconds. While in the diagnostic mode, if you press the gas peddle or take off, the cams will be disabled and the car will lose about 30hp for that entire drive cycle. For this reason, it's important to let the car idle for a few minutes after the flash. Beyond that, there is no "mileage requirement" or "adaptation period" of any kind.

However, many people have reported that after the first 10-20 miles, the car does seem to feel stronger.

I've experienced this numerous times on a cold start when its sub 30F Reflashing the day before hand. Warmer it gets (outside temp) better it seems to run once the engine is warmed up.

Also good to see some extra help on here nice to meet you Big n' Rich

I submitted a ticket Monday afternoon and got the tune about 7 hours later. The time before that was nearly 2 weeks (thats counting a holiday though). It really depends on Johns current workload.

Hes in CA now working on the Innovate car I believe, so it may a bit longer.
