It's not a matter of the wheelbase, it's the car height.

Only older designs with the sucked in look can pull off a smaller wheel size. The 86/BRZ was an attempt on recreating the older 80s/90s sports car with that exact look in mind.

This Zupra idk wtf they were thinking. This ugly af bloated look is basically like an Acura RSX or Toyota Matrix with wheels being too small.

The supra was never small to begin with. It was like all the people that say the R35 is bloated and ugly. To me it follows right in line with the lineage of the other R's.

Hey look its the new supra, that looks like a ferrari testarossa; wouldn't go over to well right?

There is nothing lumpy about that in my opinion. It is sleek. I owned a black one like that and my only complaint about the looks of it stock was that it looked undertired. The wheels were relatively small and were inset too much leaving the wheel wells looking somewhat empty. Other than that, I like the aesthetics of the last gen Supra.

1st Supra (In Name Only) Competitive Win Today

Today we learned that a race car carrying the Supra name can turn left as Bell dominated the Xfinity event.

From what little I saw (start, restarts and last 10 laps) it was pretty cool in this new era without restrictors.

https://www.nascar.com/news-media/20...ay-rinnai-250/

Happy for Joe Gibbs Racing and TRD, great effort on a mid-length track for a new race car designed more for superspeedways and young talent showing the way.

Hopefully, they'll have similar success in GT4.

A70TTR has stated that Toyota gave some of the test cars to aftermarket companies for research purposes instead of crushing them after testing was done.

Meh. Then they should be able show us a video of a 2jz running in a Supra. How many "test" cars were there? 3 maybe 4? CX racing had their hands on one long enough to make a kit? I remain strongly dubious.
The comments in the article you linked sort of summed everything up nicely anyway.
