why is it funny? it will always be a true point of contention....imagine if the next M3/4 were made by Lexus..

Actually, I love the BMW look. Just like I love Audi's understated yet evolutionary changes.

However, it's not difficult to get BMW models and years confused. They're not as visually impacting. I can see why someone would want a BMW with a sexy, different Japanese body style. I love the M2/M240i, but it's very difficult to justify the price tag for a rather generic looking 2-door when you can have the Supra with a sexy distinctive body.

Also, I just find it funny when people say "but it's not a real Supra, it's a BMW!" Yeah, then those people have nothing against going out and buying an M2/M4 instead. Lol.

I can't wait to see what it'll look like in that green wrap once they're done!

Not to mention that there are many, MANY people that would not go out and buy a M2/M4 instead. Or any BMW for that matter.

i only hate some of the wings because toyota/aftermarket haven't released a non-duckbill rear deck.

Imo, this makes the back end duck bill shit acceptable because it covers it quite nicely.

Agreed, plus the open grill and nose for me. A wing/lip like that and a new front bumper would go far to improve the overall look.
