Unfortunately the buffing didn't work, as it definitely clearly still scratched up on the passenger side (driver side looks a lot better. It actually looks like the spoiler definitely has been worn through the paint completely in one area or the buffing wore off the already damaged area.

They're supposed to be filing a warranty claim with Subaru now, so we'll see what happens. I suspect repainting it all at the dealer owned body shop who supposedly uses Subaru paint. I am not sure how high hopes I have for this though as their computer didn't even have the BRZ in their computers (VIN kept coming up as Scion)...
