Looks great! Classy yet aggressive. Retains the traditional type of shape Subaru has had for years with the top-mounted intercoolers. I like it.

I usually dislike scoops (outside classic cars or the WRX), but this one is great, especially on the BRZ (Subaru). I guess a scoop and Subaru emblem just look perfect together.

I received an email today requesting some input on the design of the 'inner' of the hood. I thought it may be best opened up to the forums and the ideas of others:

Not a fan.. I think the scoop is too big.. looks like it belongs on a 427 Mustang.. But I've said it before.. If YOU like it.. and want it.. then by all means do it! Once painted.. who knows? might look hot and change MY mind.. lol

Forcing a bunch of unneeded air into the engine bay is pointless and counterproductive.
I do admit, though, that it looks amazing! I'd rather see a hood that does the opposite... pulls hot air out from the engine bay. Think Evo MR hood. |

Definite vents towards the windshield....will pull air from the front end around and over the engine then out the vents to keep the engine cooler.

They did talk about making a CF hood, as well... in addition to making CF inserts for the fender 'vent' area.

I agree on this, first thing I noticed. Also it would be great if it followed the lines of the GT hood stripe package so it would fit inbetween them. It may already not sure.
