I didn't see anything wrong on that website. They love their Hyundai and are willing to defend it.

I'll do the same for my BRZ too but I stay open-minded. That is, whenever the hell it gets here

quite a bit of hatred on my local forums too. Everyone loved the car until it was released then it was a GC and mustang love fest.

The GC never even slightly interested me. I see it as a poor man's G37 Coupe. And, I dont like that side rear window that is lower than the door side window. Looks like a bad G37 copy.

Granted, Hyundai/Kia have made leaps and bounds in recent years, especially with the Sonata and Optima, but it isn't qite the right product for me.

About 2 years ago one of my cooworkers picked up a Genesis sedan with the tech package including the Lexicon stereo. What freaked me out is he was able to negotiate a lower lease payment compared to my 2008 Accord VL EX-L. Mind you this guy had a connection and he is the type that will fight for a penny. I pity his salesman.

As a community we should do our best to represent this car. Drive responsibly on the roads and drive enthusiastically on the track. I'm not a young guy and I didn't buy this car to try and be one. I bought this car because I love to drive and this car let's me.

That's funny. I'm on that forum too. I had plan to get a Gen Coupe 2.0T last year before the facelift. It's a nice car and what not but horrible dealers and too many issues turned me away. Like Nazarite said, at the end of the day it's a fkn Hyundai.

Oh so admitting to an accident and less than better-judgement is immature? Why not just be glad that the guy's ok instead of saying he's an idiot? Anyone in the right mind would know that the guy's feeling like shit already but some have to feel that they have the moral obligation to ridicule and put the person down even more.

Oh and hating on something just because people who review cars professionally likes it? How narrow-minded can you get?

IDK Koreans are probably making better quality cars for the money than the Japanese are now. That said I was just never that interested in one. It was too big and the interior felt very GM to me.

It's that 10-year/100k mile warranty.

I like the hatred though tbh. I had someone with a jiffy lube uniform who drove a beat up NA impreza standing in line in front of me at the convience store yesterday. He gave the clerk a lecture about how underpowered my car was, that he wouldn't drive one and that smart people should wait until STI comes out with their turbo million hp version next year. Everyone has an opinion, especially in the car community.

It's not even the warranty for the car, 10y/100k is only for the powertrain. My last new car was a Mitsubishi which also had the 5 year 60k bumper to bumper and 10 year 100k powertrain and I can honestly say I won't buy another Mits regardless how much love I still have for the Evo. I would be crazily surprised if Huyndai service for the warranty is any better than Mits.
