your right the genesis coupe isn't fun....but 275hp and beating the frs around a track isn't fun lol. Being able to downshift once and pass a car rather then 2 downshifts is fun. Lol exactly why people make fun of the FRS is 70% the car 30% of the owners. Not saying all the owners are rude, just saying quite a few think their car is much better then all other cars out there!

i never said it isnt fun but imo downsifting to pass or beating the slower car isnt fun. i dont get enjoyment from winning i get enjoyment from driving and im sure a lot of the people on this forum are the same way. yeah the numbers arent the best but i think the frs delivers more smiles per dollar than just about anything (head to head with the miata at least) and that is a remarkable accomplishment.

on a side note. thinking your car is better than all others isnt something that gen coupe owners are immune to.

It is not going to happen here, or for that matter on any forum

There will be people shitflinging in both directions regardless of your opinion or for that matter anyone else's opinion... especially on a forum where many members are young, and buying the FRS/Gen Coupe was the most expensive decision in their life

actually they say the frs is fun to drive, but the genesis is faster on the track because of the hp and tq

When the genesis coupe first came out I was excited, the first affordable RWD sports car in a while. But, it turned out too good to be true.

If you peruse a few of the reviews when the car first came out you'll discover there were a number of issues: transmission, throttle response, handling, LSD and overall poor build quality...(See video) Maybe they have worked out the issues and it's good now but i'm turned off.

Compared to the initial media response to the frs/brz there is no contest.

To each his own, there is no point is squabbling over who's car is better. I personally prefer the 86 and that's what I'm gonna buy.
