Tire Fitment 18x9.5+35

Hey guys, I just got my wheels in they are 18x9.5 with an offset of +35. I was looking at running 245/35/18 in the front and 255/35/18 on the rear. I have a 1 inch drop. Will I experience any rubbing with this setup? If anyone is running this setup and can give some input, it would be greatly appreciated. I'd like to get the wheels as flush as possible but don't want to be rubbing. Thank you.

Depending on your alignment, you may rub on the front fender or the front spring perch. You might be able to fit 245s on those wheels, but it will require some fiddling.

Regardless, I would suggest two things:
(1) Don't stagger your tire sizes. There's no reason to do so. The car was designed for a square setup. Staggering also means you can't rotate your tires front-to-back.

(2) Ideally, you should be running a 255 or 265 on those wheels. 245 won't be dangerous or anything, but it's not ideal. But you'll have problems fitting 255 or 265s, so either get coils and add -2.5 front camber, or get different wheels that fit better on stock dampers.

For the rear you'll be fine. The front I'm not 100% sure because you might rub on the spring perch. If you are willing to stretch tires, 235 won't rub in the front. 245 is a maybe. 255 I think you will. This also depends on brand of tire as well. Federals run wider than they really are.

I have the same set up, but I switched to coils. Also, you'll have some pretty bad poke in the front without any negative camber adjustment, just FYI on that, it won't be "flush" per se.

Yeah I went to my local tire shop and they suggested doing 245s all around

Just don't get federals or else you might rub at 245.

Hi there.

Do not stagger your tire sizes. If your wheels are all 18x9.5 than you need to run the same size tire all around or else you will run into issues with oversteer/understeer.

An 18x9.5 should run a 255/35/18 or larger tire. Anything less will not be ideal, UNLESS you specifically want the stretched tire look, or a stanced out car.

If you are doing grip driving, go with a 255 or larger. I run a 18x9.5 +40 with a 265/35/18 and it did/does rub if you do not apply enough camber.

The fact that your wheels are a +35 means they will stick out farther than mine do, so I could imagine they will rub on the fenders unless you add a decent amount of camber. However, you only have a 1 inch drop, which is not much, so I don't think you would have any rubbing issues.
