A lot of people are hanging by to see this kit in action and holding on to the price tag of $3.6k. I hope you all can deliver this kit in that price bracket and you will see a shit loads of these kits fly out the door globally.

loving the stealth look, esp black piping / turbo placement stock airbox. It has ticked a lot boxes for me so far.

very keen to see tuning solutions

Keep up the good work. I love how discrete it is. A big plus for us older guys.

Going to be reaching a point soon where I won't be able to update too often - I'm heading down to Southern California in 24 hours. Going to be at Subiefest (6th) and 86Fest (7th) over this weekend! No reason for anybody in the area not to go to both, they are only about 10 miles from each other.

Ross had the car on the dyno all day yesterday, only reason there were no updates because it's no 20 minute tune job. I'm sure they'll be doing the same today (tonight, since they are on authentic JDM™ time). Option Magazine will actually be on their doorstep today, I believe, doing an article on it, so I doubt they'll have time to hit the computer.

I'll keep an eye here best as possible on the road, and anything going through facebook will be sure to get to me!

So where do we stand now as far as power and the full specs of what the turbo kit will have. Will the ecu map be provided in the introductory price(if we have ecutek license), are we using pump gas, how many psi. This goes to anyone that could answer me, not just AVO, thanks for your help.

ECUTek tune will be provided with the price (you need to buy your license and find a cable), Base map will be for pump gas, they are aiming at 5 psi. I'm guessing HP will be between 230-280 for the base system.

At this point, we've found no reason to budge from a $3800.00 price point.

An ecutek base map will be provided within that cost, so if you already have a ecutek license/cable, you are good. Otherwise, at minimum you'll need to purchase an ecutek license and buy or borrow a cable.

The base map, when it's finished, will be based on 91 octane pump gas. It's literally that, a safe base map for getting the car on the road in even the worst states (california) for gas quality.

As for hp/psi, final figures will be published after the kit has gone onto the AVO FR-S in Seattle, WA. We need to test it here in the states before we can commit to hard numbers. We'll be able to give rough estimates on both based on the AVO BRZ in Japan, though.

You'll need to let me know when you'll have your FR-S on the Dyno. I'd ditch work to come witness this.

Will there be an option for 93/e85 or will we need to get a custom tune for this?
