From personal experience, Ferodo DS2500, Project mU Club Racers, and G-Loc R10's are all way better than stock, even when cold, on the street (forgetting noise).

That said, I swap mine out when I put on the snow tires, none of the above are friendly at all at near freezing temperatures.

wparsons: DS2500 worked ok for me even throughout winter (from -5 to -25C). On stock brakes though, so it might be different on eg. BBK.

These pads are quite a bit superior to your standard street, hybrid, and entry level track pad. Unless you run a truly OE replacement compound from a brake manufacturer that specializes in OEM street equipment, they will not be 100% quiet. This is a Brembo GT kit, not your standard random BBK idea that gets introduced into the think tank. It was designed to be consistent under heavy usage.

Replacement Brembo TS20 is around $400 for reference. Thanks.

Side note, my personal experience is that performance pads are noisy. It's just part of the deal. I have the Ferodo DS2500 in my AP Racing Sprint BBK right now, I'm not sure if the experience with them in the Brembos would be the same, but they're quiet until you get under 10mph. Adding a shim and brake parts lube helped quiet them down a lot, but they're definitely not silent. Anytime you want them to go silent, just brake hard to the floor, but be aware you're going to stop rapidly. Obviously that doesn't work too well approaching stoplights in the city, so it's just going to squeal.

I've got Carbotech 1521s on the way and will try them out on the street, they are supposed to be much quieter. Personally the noise doesn't bother me, but it drives my neighbor's dogs nuts and since I usually roll home after 11PM they are not so happy with me. Reality is that if you want high performance brake pad compound, you'll have to deal with the noise on the street. I wish I was farther outside the city with more space between me and my neighbors, then I'd not even worry about it.

Obviously if you find a pad compound that's quiet, it's not going to have the same performance. In the end, track pads are best on track, street pads are best on the street.

I think I’m going to swap out the performance pads with street pads. It’s getting to the point the brake squeak is attracting cops attention more than my header and exhaust lol. What brand and size of street pads do you recommend?
