If your local dealer won't disclose the location of that BRZ, start calling some dealerships in Maine until someone helps you peg down its location. It shouldn't be hard to do. Subaru's customer hotline should also be able to help. Then decide if you want to rent a car/fly up there and drive it back yourself this weekend (150 miles is a long drive but not a major road trip).

Stick on some blue painter's tape like I did and make sure no lose ends flap in the wind else it will scratch the paint.

Take a bus 300 miles to pick it up. If you have to, drive the person who was going to drive it to your city back with you so he can pick up the other car to drive back.

Dude, I changed jobs but the new job would only let me work full-time for the first 90 days so I couldn't afford it until the 90 days were up. It was out of my hands. Stay at the job I was unhappy at or start a new career which I would love.

It was a smart move.

They won't let me. Also, they won't tell me where it is because they figure I'd go up there and buy it cutting them out of the picture. I can understand that.

Either way, I have decided I want my car right off the truck. There is no price on peace of mind for me.

I called today and thanked them for their time.
