What tires do you run on all these. Instead of hp you should share what rear end and final drive gear ratios were on those supras to get to speed like that.

184mph wheel speed sensor on a tuning pull..closed course. had to let out early, but judging from the way it was pulling could have hit 200 with the gearing and redline. 98'GSX

110 mph, according to the nice police officer that pulled me over. That was in a '96 Eclipse, and that was as fast as it would go. The FR-S has only gotten up to 101 once.

260+ KM/HR in my 91 GTR. Could have gone faster but was running out of road, fast. lol
This actually didnt feel fast at all at the time, car was very stable with a fully built suspension setup etc. ~230km/hr (stock speedo ended at 200 lol) in a stripped 88 civic hatch with a jdm b16 however was utterly terrifying. Felt like the smallest bump would send the car into an endo... |

On the road? A little past 110 in my old RX-8. The area I live in is far too congested to really attempt anything beyond that on the street. When the streets are clear, the roads are infested with deer anyway.
On a track? Not much faster. |

In a decently made car, 100-120mph doesn't feel like anything. In a primer grey 60's muscle car not maintained very well, it's terrifying!
(my '68 Firebird had unbalanced wheels that made the car shake like crazy at speeds approaching 55mph! Hahaha) I've driven in Germany - so, cruising at 150-170mph in a V8 Jag wasn't too exciting. Getting 5 guys in a 2 door econo-hatch and going 140... very different story. It's not so much the speed as it is how well the vehicle made is for that speed. That said, one day I'll hit the Bonneville Salt Flats just for the fun of it. ![]() Btw, for those wondering - I think the BRZ top speed is about 142mph, drag (power) limited. Supercharger could push it to 150-160 I bet. |
