I still have to do one of these sometime. Not an interest of mine in particular but they do have some really cool kits. I will just watch for one to go on sale.

Haven't touched it. Honestly it's just so nice and I have like 30-40 projects waiting for me to get around to them. Still thinking about how I want to approach it as well. Race car modified to be a road/track car, or just improve existing detail...

Is it just me, or do the models look better than the real things?

Honestly it may just be the lighting - shows off more of the shape of the car. A whole lot easier to do on a model. Not sure they're bothering with fancy studio shots any more on real cars (except maybe the really fancy expensive ones?)

My next project: These are copies of a custom miniature I designed in Hero Forge (https://www.heroforge.com/) and had resin printed (stereolithography aka SLA) by a friend. Highly recommend checking them out if you need a custom mini humanoid/monster. Doubly so if you have an SLA printer at your disposal, but they will also sell you the plastic mini at various grades of coolness.

Meet Dante: (Including Lt. DANte to the right for giggles.)

I'm finally starting my project. I'm going to try to make them true to history as possible.

They spewed oil and black exhaust so don't be afraid to dirty them up.

Just the Red Baron as far as I know. Don't think he ever went after anybody else.

Although...
He was called an "Ace" so there had to be at least 4 others.
"Of all of Snoopy's guises, the World War I Flying Ace was perhaps his most notable. Using his doghouse as his "Sopwith Camel" fighter plane, he imagined endless battles with his nemesis."

Clearly he only had one nemesis then, as opposed to multiple nemeses.
